FAQ

General

I haven't studies for a while. Will I be able to cope?

Don't worry, the learning starts gently gently. Each stage builds on one another. By the time you have entered the 2nd or 3rd module of the programme, you are getting warmed up, just like a classic car. We are help to support your learning, like we love teaching.

I've never done online learning before and I worry it's a bit lonely. Can I talk with other students or tutors?

Because we care about our students and what we teach here, we make every effort to support our learners while they are studying here. Our new on-line learner app enables students to access learning material including videos done in class to enhance information so that you can cope with the work that is expected to achieve your qualification.

Will I be able to manage my time?

You will be given a study planner to assist with managing your time.
Dates are also on the learning platform that will prompt you when deadlines are coming up. If you need an extension, just ask, let us know and we can give you more time. Communication is the key.

Can I work fulltime and study as well?

It really depends on how many hours you work in the week, other family obligations you have and how much time you want to study during the week. Yes, the courses are designed to work and study, but life can get in the way. Courses can take up to 2 years if you need.

How computer literate do I need to be?

Reasonable ability on the computer is necessary. Assignments are moving more into electronic. However, if you prefer to do paper written assignments, then we can cater for that as well.

What sort of computer setup do I need?

You can access our material from any type of computor that you like, apple laptops, ipads, phone, anything. Our systems are very compatible with all technology. You could set up something more formal, like a desk, computer, good chair and of course good access to the internet.
